They say, "Those that can ... do. Those that can't ... teach." I'll add to that, "Those that can't teach ... start writing to a blog so that they can record a little of what they knew before they don't remember anything."

I don't think it is ever going to catch on as a common household cliche, but it sums up my current situation nicely.
